Cars
PLOT: A hot-shot race-car named Lightning McQueen gets waylaid in Radiator Springs, where he finds the true meaning of friendship and family.OPINION: What a fun and good movie it turned out to be. One of my favorite quotes is when Lightning McQueen meets Mater and Mater is telling him his name and says... Yeah, like tuh-mater, but without the "tuh." Can't wait to watch Cars 2.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
PLOT: Journalist Mikael Blomkvist is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for forty years by Lisbeth Salander, a young computer hacker. OPINION: The movie was just as good as the book. It was really intense and even though I knew what was going to happen it still kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara as Mikael and Lisbeth. Great movie.
Kung Fu Panda
PLOT: In the Valley of Peace, Po the Panda finds himself chosen as the Dragon Warrior despite the fact that he is obese and a complete novice at martial arts.OPINION: Great movie and it made me laugh. My favorite quote is when Oogway says... "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift, and that is why it's called the present" to Po.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon 3D
PLOT: The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and to learn its secrets. OPINION: How could you go wrong with giant machines fighting? We both enjoyed it and we love 3D. I did however think the movie was a little long. Two and a half hours were a bit much. They needed to wrap it up. I also liked the new love interest. She was a nice addition to the movie. I also loved his parents. They didn’t play a big role but they always make me laugh.

Black Swan
PLOT: A ballet dancer wins the lead in "Swan Lake" and is perfect for the role of the delicate White Swan - Princess Odette - but slowly loses her mind as she becomes more and more like Odile, the Black Swan. OPINION: Love, love, love this movie. It was very dark and a couple of parts I wasn’t sure about. Overall I thought Natalie Portman did an excellent job. She was very believable. I wanted more. I didn’t want the movie to end.

Love and Other Drugs
Inception
PLOT: In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job to date: Inception.
OPINION: This was the second time I’ve watched this movie. I’ve fallen asleep both times. The first time I fell asleep in the theater but it was after a long day at the county fair. I also fell asleep at Lisa’s last night. I almost made it though. I missed the last half an hour of it. But we have it on Blue-Ray so I’ll watch it again when I’m not so tired. I’ve always been a fan of Leonardo Dicaprio too.

The Town
PLOT: As he plans his next job, a longtime thief tries to balance his feelings for a bank manager connected to one of his earlier heists, as well as the FBI agent looking to bring him and his crew down. OPINION: I fell asleep watching this one. We watched this at Lisa & Helder’s house. Travis & Lynette came over for dinner & to drink a few beers. We didn’t start the movie till after 11pm. At that point I had already consumed a couple of beers and started on some wine at dinner. What I saw of the movie it was ok. Aaron said it was very predictable.

Watchmen
PLOT: In an alternate 1985 where former superheroes exist, the murder of a colleague sends active vigilante Rorschach into his own sprawling investigation, uncovering something that could completely change the course of history as we know it. OPINION: Really slow start & after an hour I fell asleep. Aaron ended up not watching the entire movie and was dosing off. When I realized, the movie was 2 hours & 43 minutes. I'm not sure I'll finish it. I wasn't too impressed with the first hour & if something doesn't happen... I give up.

An Ice Cold Grave, 'HaRPeR CoNNeLLY Mysteries' by: Charlaine Harris
PLOT: Harper Connelly heads to Doraville, North Carolina, to find a missing boy--one of several teenage boys who have disappeared over the last five years. And all of them are calling for Harper. She finds them--buried in the frozen ground. All Harper wants is to get out of town before she's caught in the media storm, until she herself is attacked. Soon, Harper will learn more than she cared to about the dark mysteries and long-hidden secrets of Doraville--knoledge of the dead that makes her the next in line to end up in an ice cold grave...MY OPINION: This is my favorite one of the series. Harper gets beat up pretty bad. She's caught right in the middle of all the drama. It's no surprise that her and Tolliver become lovers. I've known from the beginning she had feeling for him. It was great to see he had feeling too.
