CDS that I've listened to on repeat

"My Kinda Party" Jason Aldean This CD is really good. Every song is good and I can’t quite say I like one more than others. I do favor a song called "Church Pew or Bar Stool". My dad seems to really like "It Ain’t Easy". The last time I visited him he got his guitar out and started singing it. Overall great CD.

"21" Adele Very powerful voice. I love her CD “19". It has a very different feel from “21". I like them both but I do love this one a little more. I can listen to this CD on repeat for hours. Turning Tables, Set Fire to the Rain & Someone Like You are a few of my favorites. I bought “19" & “21" on vinyl and they both sound great.

"Wasting Light" Foo Fighters I've never been a huge Foo Fighters fan. I like a few of their older songs. My husband bought this on vinyl and it came with a digital download. I love every song except for "White Limo". He screams on this track too much and I can't take it so I skip it unless I'm listening to the vinyl. Awesome CD and well worth the money spent.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds I loved Noel Gallagher when he was with Oasis. He was the songwriter and his brother was the lead singer. Now Noel is both the singer/songwriter. This is a very well written album. Right now I am obsessed with this CD. This is another one I bought on vinyl.

"Speak Now" Taylor Swift This CD is just as good as her last two. I am a huge Taylor Swift fan. Even though some people make fun of me for it but I don't care. She's not the best singer out there but she can sing and she's an excellent songwriter. I can relate to all of her music. & I still listen to her first two CD's. I have this one on vinyl too and it sounds so good. It sounds like she is in the room singing. I also met her in '08 before a concert at Max and Erma's and she was so nice. She didn't mind to stop at our table for a picture. I will continue to support her as long as she's making good music.

Stone Temple Pilots This is a good. I've loved STP since the 90's. And they are still making kick ass albums. I sitting at home singing some STP while my husband plays the guitar. This is another vinyl record that sounds kick ass. One of my favorite songs on this album is "Maver".

Nirvana - Negative Creep - Live

Nirvana - About A Girl (MTV Unplugged)

We've been listening to a little Nirvana here lately. Today, I saw on some friends facebook page it was Kurt's birthday. I decided to post a couple videos. It's hard to pick just one cause I have so many favorites. He died too young. Love you Kurt, your music lives on.

Rihanna "LOUD"

I love this CD. It's awesome! My favorites are in BOLD. She only has three videos so far. S&M is a little wild. I like that song but it isn't one of my favorites (at the moment). I've been listening to the CD nonstop in my car & while on-line. Well, on-line when Aaron isn't listening to something like right now he's listening to De La Sol.

Two is Better Than One

I remember what you wore on the first day
You came into my life
And I thought hey
You know this could be something
Cause everything you do
And words you say
You know that it all takes my breath away
And I am left with nothing

So maybe its true
That I cant live without you
Maybe two is better than one
There's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
I'm thinking two is better than one

I remember every look upon your face
The way you roll your eyes
The way you taste
You make it hard for breathing
Cause when i close my eyes and drift away
I think of you and everything's okay
I'm finally now believing

Then maybe its true
That I can't live without you
Maybe two is better than one
There's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
I'm thinking two is better than one
(oh yeah)
I remember what you wore on the first day
You came into my life
And i thought hey

Maybe it's true
That I cant live without you
Maybe two is better than one
There's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
And I'm thinking
That I cant live without you
Cause maybe two is better than one
But there's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
But I've figured out
When all is said and done
Two is better than one
Two is better than one.

I love this song soooo much right now. It features Taylor Swift which makes it better in my book. (I love her)
The second verse is my favorite.

I love, love, love Taylor Swift. Taylor was nominated for four awards last night and she won all four. Taylor made history at the CMA Awards, becoming the youngest person to win Entertainer of the Year and the first solo female to win it in a decade. She was so deserving and I was so happy for her. I hope she will keep writing and recording music for years to come. I was also happy to see Lady Antebellum take home Vocal Group and knock out Rascal Flatts who dominated for six years in this category.

WOODSTOCK Fest to Return in '09?

The original promoters of Woodstock are reportedly planning a 40th-anniversary concert. There are rumors that some of the 1969 Woodstock performers may return for two shows: one in upstate New York and another in Berlin. The festival's founders declined to comment on the rumors. The 30th-anniversary Woodstock concert in 1999 ended in disaster, when fans rioted and started massive bonfires.

Here is the Line-Up and acts that the promoters would select to perform at Woodstock 2009:

Friday:
Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Matchbox 20, Finger Eleven, Deathcab for Cutie, Sheryl Crow, Jet, John Mayer, Ted Nuget, The Donnas.

Saturday:
Guns N Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Green Day, Jane's Addiction, My Chemical Romance, Dave Mathews Band, Nickelback, The White Stripes, The Black Crowes, Tom Petty, Buckcherry, Slunt.

Sunday:
Van Halen, Motley Crue, U2, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, The Killers, Tenacious D, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maroon 5.

Jack Johnson

" FLAKE "
I know she said it's alright
But you can make it up next time
I know she knows it's not right
There ain't no use in lying
Maybe she thinks I know something
Maybe maybe she thinks its fine
Maybe she knows something I don't
I'm so, I'm so tired, I'm so tired of trying

It seems to me that maybe
It pretty much always means no
So don't tell me you might just let it go
And often times we're lazy
It seems to stand in my way
Cause no one no not no one
Likes to be let down

I know she loves the sunrise
No longer sees it with her sleeping eyes
And I know that when she said she's gonna try
Well it might not work because of other ties and
I know she usually has some other ties
And I wouldn't want to break 'em, nah, I wouldn't want to break 'em
Maybe she'll help me to untie this but
Until then well, I'm gonna have to lie too

It seems to me that maybe
It pretty much always means no
So don't tell me you might just let it go
And often times we're lazy
It seems to stand in my way
Cause no one no not no one
Likes to be let down
It seems to me that maybe
It pretty much always means no
So don't tell me you might just let it go

The harder that you try baby, the further you'll fall
Even with all the money in the whole wide world
Please please please don't pass me
Please please please don't pass me
Please please please don't pass me by

Everything you know about me now baby you gonna have to change
You gonna have to call it by a brand new name
Please please please don't drag me
Please please please don't drag me
Please please please don't drag me down

Just like a tree down by the water baby I shall not move
Even after all the silly things you do
Please please please don't drag me
Please please please don't drag me
Please please please don't drag me down

John Mayer

" Neon "
When sky blue gets dark enough
To see the colors of the city lights
A trail of ruby red and diamond white
Hits her like a sunrise

She comes and goes and comes and goes
Like no one can

Tonight she's out to lose herself
And find a high on Peachtree Street
From mixed drinks to techno beats it's always
Heavy into everything

She comes and goes and comes and goes
Like no one can
She comes and goes and no one knows
She's slipping through my hands

She's always buzzing just like
Neon, neon
Neon, neon
Who knows how long, how long, how long
She can go before she burns away

I can't be her angel now
You know it's not my place to hold her down
And it's hard for me to take a stand
When I would take her anyway I can

She comes and goes and comes and goes
Like no one can
She comes and goes and no one knows
She's slipping through my hands

She's always buzzing just like
Neon, neon
Neon, neon
Who knows how long, how long, how long

Breathe by: Taylor Swift

I purchased this CD over a week ago and cannot quit listening to it. I love every single song on the CD. This is her second CD and I LOVE IT. The first CD was awesome but this one is better. She is an amazing singer and song writer. This song here was written by Taylor and Colbie Caillat.

ANGEL

This is track number 4 on Jack Johnson's new cd. This song is so BEAUTIFUL. The entire cd is awesome but this song is deep and you can tell he really loves his wife.

I've got an angel
She doesn't wear any wings
She wears a heart that can melt my own
She wears a smile that can make me wanna sing
She gives me presents
With her presence alone
She gives me everything I could wish for
She gives me kisses on the lips just for coming home

She could make angels
I've seen it with my own eyes
You gotta be careful when you've got good love
Cause the angels will just keep on multiplying

But you're so busy changing the world
Just one smile can change all of mine
We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
We Share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
We Share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
Umm umm umm uhhhhhhmm

NKOTB - WTF!?!?

After months of speculation and rumor, the Kids are coming back. A well-placed source tells PEOPLE exclusively that New Kids On The Block are indeed getting back together.

The band's Web site, www.nkotb.com, which had been dormant, is now back up and running in anticipation of the official announcement, which the source says will be made in the next few weeks.

The site currently features a television graphic with a fuzzy, flickering photos of NKOTB in their heyday, and a link inviting fans to sign up for info.

The boy band, which made legions of tweens swoon in the early '90s, selling more than 50 million albums, became a worldwide phenomenon before calling it quits in 1994.

Eighteen years later, they're still "Hangin' Tough." The oldest "Kid," Jonathan Knight, now a real estate developer, will turn 40 later this year. Since the band's demise, former members Donnie Wahlberg, 38, and Joey McIntyre, 35, have seen acting success, while Danny Wood, 38, has worked as a music producer and Knight's brother, Jordan, 37, has continued to record.

There's a new ballad on the block.

Nearly 14 years after breaking up, the '90s boy band New Kids On The Block are back with a new ballad on their official Web site.

The song (its name isn't revealed) plays over a promotional video for the band that says the Kids once had it all – a $1 billion in album sales, millions of fans, with music that "influenced a generation" – but then "walked away from it all."

The video next teases the a comeback, asking: "Are you ready?"

The song, a source says, was recorded by all five Kids last November in Orlando

Milo Ventimiglia

I watched the "Big Girls Don't Cry" video by Fergie today and noticed Milo Ventimiglia in it. I was very impressed and thought if you didn't know then you might want to watch the video too. I've now seen it a couple of times. hehe

TAYLOR SWIFT ROCKS!!

Yesterday was a great day!

Alex and I decided to go to Max and Erma’s to eat before the concert. When we get inside we notice there’s a wait. The hostess says you can wait for inside or we can place you outside now. Alex says outside is fine but I say no we can wait. Wasn’t a long wait at all. They place us in a booth across from the bar. While I’m sipping on a Corona and we are waiting on our food Alex says hey is that Taylor Swift. I turned to look and sure enough Taylor and her mother walks by our table. We are kinda star stuck at this point. Alex is asking me how we just let her walk right by us. I’m looking around and I didn’t notice that she had stepped outside but she disappeared behind a wall. I told Alex that she had to go into the bathroom because that was the only thing behind the wall. So Alex goes to the bathroom and comes back out saying yes that’s her and her mother just took our picture with my phone. I was getting up to go to the bathroom with my camera when I heard her body guard behind me say no just sit right there. And I’m thinking what, I want my picture with her too. A few minutes pass and she and her mother come from the bathroom and walk in our direction. I ask her for a picture and she stops and takes one with me. She was so nice. Not many people even knew she was there. They had her in the very back of the restaurant and it was off limits until she left. We saw her slip out through the kitchen area. We were so excited! The concert rocked!! She sounds great live and the Keith Albee is a nice place to see concerts.

Charlie

All aboard... stitching time
Get yours... got mine
In a minute... ill be there
Sit tight... get square
You can do it at the hippodrome
slide back... trombone
Anybody got a TV at home
Thats right... unknown.

When I pick up on that smell
Pick it up and run like hell
Little woman send me some
Better get up on your run

[Chorus:]
So much more than
Charlie's waking me
To my core and
Charlie's shakin' me
Tell my story
And Charlie's making me
And Charlie's making me smile.
Oh, Oh, now

Everybody... do the twist
Get the the message... on Flea's fists
Move around like a scientist
Lay down... get kissed
Big picture and it never lies
Big daddy... will advice
Eveready... in disguise
Sunset... sunrise

When I pick up on that smell
Pick it up and run like hell
Little woman send me some
Better get up on your run

[Chorus]

My heart... Your skin
This love... I'm in
We don't arrive, without a suprise
You're right... I'm wrong
Be free... Be long
Intimate sight has come into light

When I pick up on that smell
Pick it up and run like hell
Little woman send me some
Better get up on your run

All I ever wanted to
Was pick it up and run with you
Slip it into a summer spell
Double up and run like hell

[Chorus]

My heart... Your skin
This love... I'm in
We don't arrive without a suprise
You're right... I'm wrong
Be free... Be long
Intimate sight has come into light

My heart... Your skin
This love... I'm in
We don't arrive without a suprise
You're right... I'm wrong
Be free... Be long
Intimate sight has come into light

"Better Together" by Jack Johnson

There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
Like a, shoebox of photographs
With sepiatone loving
Love is the answer,
At least for most of the questions in my heart
Like why are we here? And where do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
Sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing it's always better when we're together

[Chorus:]
MMM it's always better when we're together
Yeah, we'll look at the stars when we're together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together

And all of these moments
Just might find their way into my dreams tonight
But I know that they'll be gone
When the morning light sings
And brings new things
For tomorrow night you see
That they'll be gone too
Too many things I have to do
But if all of these dreams might find their way
Into my day to day scene
I'd be under the impression
I was somewhere in between
With only two
Just me and you
Not so many things we got to do
Or places we got to be
We'll Sit beneath the mango tree now

It's always better when we're together
Mmmm, we're somewhere in between together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together

MMmmmm MMMmmmm Mmmmmm
I believe in memories
They look so, so pretty when I sleep
Hey now, and when I wake up,
You look so pretty sleeping next to me
But there is not enough time,
And there is no, no song I could sing
And there is no, combination of words I could say
But I will still tell you one thing
We're better together.

Destiny's Child: Live in Atlanta

Wow, I have to say this DVD is one of my favorites.

Those girls can sing and dance and they have a powerful stage presence. One part that really stood out to me was the girls singing Cater 2 U while giving lap dances to three lucky male audience members. And when I say lucky I meant it. Those guys were drooling and I don’t blame them. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I will definitely have to re-watch that part a few times and try and pick up on those moves.

The girls also got a chance to showcase things they’ve done outside of Destiny’s Child. Awesome!

I was not expecting this DVD to be as good as it was. I had expected to put it in and skip to the songs I knew. I started on the first song and I found that I wasn’t able to skip to the next one till that selection had finished. I found myself cooking dinner late last night because I was so into the DVD that I couldn’t stop watching. It had me dancing, singing and smiling the whole time.

Also they changed outfits so many times but it wasn’t distracting or drawn out. While the girls were backstage changing we were entertained by wonderful dancers.

This DVD will definitely be put in the DVD player again and again.
