WOODSTOCK Fest to Return in '09?

The original promoters of Woodstock are reportedly planning a 40th-anniversary concert. There are rumors that some of the 1969 Woodstock performers may return for two shows: one in upstate New York and another in Berlin. The festival's founders declined to comment on the rumors. The 30th-anniversary Woodstock concert in 1999 ended in disaster, when fans rioted and started massive bonfires.

Here is the Line-Up and acts that the promoters would select to perform at Woodstock 2009:

Friday:
Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Matchbox 20, Finger Eleven, Deathcab for Cutie, Sheryl Crow, Jet, John Mayer, Ted Nuget, The Donnas.

Saturday:
Guns N Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Green Day, Jane's Addiction, My Chemical Romance, Dave Mathews Band, Nickelback, The White Stripes, The Black Crowes, Tom Petty, Buckcherry, Slunt.

Sunday:
Van Halen, Motley Crue, U2, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, The Killers, Tenacious D, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maroon 5.

I went in 1999 as well.I sat right in front of the soundboard.Had a great time.Had an even greater time at the protest party at Roy's home on Max's old homestead.I remember some of the people talking at that party on crashing the original site on Sunday's show. They never did,LOL It was a weekend I'll always remember.I had to leave as Arlo was hitting the stage.I can still picture in my mind the sounds and sights as I left the parking lot in my 1979 Olds 98 heading home to NJ.Dave
