Gone by: Lisa Gardner

PLOT: When someone you love vanishes without a trace, how far would you go to get them back? For ex-FBI profiler Pierce Quincy, it's the beginning of his worst nightmare: a car abandoned on a desolate stretch of Oregon highway, engine running, purse on the driver's seat. And his estranged wife, Rainie Conner, gone, leaving no clue to her fate. Did one of the ghost from Rainie's troubled past finally catch up with her? One man knows what happened that night. Adopting the alias of a killer caught eighty years before, he has already contacted the press. His terms are clear: he wants money, he wants power, he wants celebrity. And if he doesn't get what he wants, Rainie will be gone for good. Pierce plunges headlong into the most desperate hunt of his life, into the shattering search for a killer, a lethal truth, and for the love of his life, who may forever be...gone.

New TV Shows that I love...

PLOT: Takes an irreverent look at parenthood through the point of view of an acerbic working mother, along with her stay-at-home husband and opinionated parents.

I love this show. Christina Applegate, Maya Rudolph and Will Arnett are freaking funny. Those three make me laugh out loud the entire show. I also love that Maya's character Ava is dating Jason Lee. I love him too he was so funny on My Name is Earl. I miss that show.

PLOT: Police officer Rick Grimes leads a group of survivors in a world overrun by zombies.

Awesome show! How can you not like a show about zombies. And they have a really cool story line to go along with the zombie attacks. I love the all the different characters that are part of the show.

PLOT: After a bad break-up, Jess, an offbeat young woman, moves into an apartment loft with three single men. Although they find her behavior very unusual, the men support her - most of the time.

I love this show. I love the fact that they have a douchebag jar. Schmidt seems to be a repeat offender that has to put money in the douchebag jar. Jess is so funny and weird. I really like the other two boys that live with Jess and Schmidt. Funny show.

PLOT: A married father of three tries to maintain his manliness in a world increasingly dominated by women.

I loved Tim Allen on Home Improvement and this show is no exception. It's funny as heck and he comes up with some great one liners. I like his wife and daughters on the show. His boss is pretty funny too. His wife sometimes looks as though she is going to bust out laughing at times when he drops some of the funniest one liners. I love it!

PLOT: Set in the 1860s it centers on former confederate soldier Cullen Bohannan, whose quest for vengeance has led him to the Union Pacific Railroad's westward construction of the first Transcontinental Railroad.

Didn't not expect to like this show but it's awesome. I love two of the main characters Anson Mount and Common. They both do an amazing job. I also love Dominique McElligott who plays Lily Bell. She is beautiful. I am already ready for season 2.

PLOT: Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros.

This one is on HBO which we no longer get but hopefully we can find a way to watch it. I did miss a few episodes but I hope to catch up on them before season 2 starts. One of my favorite characters on the show was Daenerys Targaryen. I called her the dragon girl. She was very cool looking and you find out very powerful.

CDS that I've listened to on repeat

"My Kinda Party" Jason Aldean This CD is really good. Every song is good and I can’t quite say I like one more than others. I do favor a song called "Church Pew or Bar Stool". My dad seems to really like "It Ain’t Easy". The last time I visited him he got his guitar out and started singing it. Overall great CD.

"21" Adele Very powerful voice. I love her CD “19". It has a very different feel from “21". I like them both but I do love this one a little more. I can listen to this CD on repeat for hours. Turning Tables, Set Fire to the Rain & Someone Like You are a few of my favorites. I bought “19" & “21" on vinyl and they both sound great.

"Wasting Light" Foo Fighters I've never been a huge Foo Fighters fan. I like a few of their older songs. My husband bought this on vinyl and it came with a digital download. I love every song except for "White Limo". He screams on this track too much and I can't take it so I skip it unless I'm listening to the vinyl. Awesome CD and well worth the money spent.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds I loved Noel Gallagher when he was with Oasis. He was the songwriter and his brother was the lead singer. Now Noel is both the singer/songwriter. This is a very well written album. Right now I am obsessed with this CD. This is another one I bought on vinyl.

"Speak Now" Taylor Swift This CD is just as good as her last two. I am a huge Taylor Swift fan. Even though some people make fun of me for it but I don't care. She's not the best singer out there but she can sing and she's an excellent songwriter. I can relate to all of her music. & I still listen to her first two CD's. I have this one on vinyl too and it sounds so good. It sounds like she is in the room singing. I also met her in '08 before a concert at Max and Erma's and she was so nice. She didn't mind to stop at our table for a picture. I will continue to support her as long as she's making good music.

Stone Temple Pilots This is a good. I've loved STP since the 90's. And they are still making kick ass albums. I sitting at home singing some STP while my husband plays the guitar. This is another vinyl record that sounds kick ass. One of my favorite songs on this album is "Maver".
