Destiny's Child: Live in Atlanta

Wow, I have to say this DVD is one of my favorites.

Those girls can sing and dance and they have a powerful stage presence. One part that really stood out to me was the girls singing Cater 2 U while giving lap dances to three lucky male audience members. And when I say lucky I meant it. Those guys were drooling and I don’t blame them. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I will definitely have to re-watch that part a few times and try and pick up on those moves.

The girls also got a chance to showcase things they’ve done outside of Destiny’s Child. Awesome!

I was not expecting this DVD to be as good as it was. I had expected to put it in and skip to the songs I knew. I started on the first song and I found that I wasn’t able to skip to the next one till that selection had finished. I found myself cooking dinner late last night because I was so into the DVD that I couldn’t stop watching. It had me dancing, singing and smiling the whole time.

Also they changed outfits so many times but it wasn’t distracting or drawn out. While the girls were backstage changing we were entertained by wonderful dancers.

This DVD will definitely be put in the DVD player again and again.

"Some You Give Away"

Ok…Yup. Still Speechless.

What an episode full of drama. I have no idea where to start.

At the beginning Brooke was being a total witch. She said some pretty nasty things to Peyton and I wanted to jump through the TV screen and slap her. But she finally came around and I started to be ok with her again. Although the whole “see mothers one and two” comment really pissed me off.

I loved the hospital scene with all the girls. It was so funny when the doctor came out to see what the fuss was all about and he took Haley to the back to check her out and the other girls where walking back to the waiting room and they all called the nurse a nasty name. Hilarious!

When Nathan decided to throw the game I wasn’t surprised. He had a wife and a baby to look out for. And since Daunte knew about Haley I can see where Nathan would want to throw the game and get those scum bags off his back. I am happy that after half time he had a change of heart and the Ravens won the game.

But not now knowing what Daunte did. I can’t believe he ran over Haley. And then Lucas not taking his pills at the beginning of the game and collapsing. Wow, what a jammed packed episode last night was.

I sure hope Lucas, Haley and the baby boy make a fast recovery.

I’m ready to see Peyton happy for a change. It seems as though something bad is always happening to that girl. For example, her adopted mother dies Jake and Jenny leave, her real mother dies and then Derek has to leave due to military reasons. And for a moment we thought it was all going to be ok because Lucas feels the same way about Peyton. And then “bang” the same night something bad happens to Lucas. WTF can’t the girl be happy for a minute. That’s something I’ve been waiting to see for so long and I hope Lucas recovers and he and Peyton Sawyer can try and work on their relationship.

The previews for next week look awesome.

"The Killing Box"

Wow, what a fall finale episode. I cannot wait till January 22 and we see what happens with the Fox River crew.

Ok, where do I start? I’m torn between wanting to believe that Kellerman is switching sides and helping out Linc and Michael. But then I keep thinking that it’s a way for him to get to Sara, try and kill all three of them after he gets the evidence he needs. Then he’s back on the president’s good side. I can’t decide which one it is.

I don’t think Mahone is dead. He was shot in the chest and he should be wearing a bullet proof vest which would prevent the bullet from killing him.

I was so happy to see Sucre alive and I hope somehow he finds Maricruz and the three of them live happily ever after. But there’s Hector to deal with….so we will have to wait and see.

T-Bag is definitely a character I love to hate. He plays the creepy guy so well. The best was when he showed up at Susan’s door and, with that creepy tongue thing he does, said, ”Don’t be frightened. Teddy’s home.” CREEPY!!!

Till next year…..

LET'S GO PIONEERS!

The Pioneers will play Wayne County rival Tolsia at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Wheeling Island Stadium for the Class AA state championship. It's Wayne's third trip to the Super Six state high school football championships in six seasons. Tolsia, who advanced with a 7-6 victory against James Monroe (12-1) on Friday, beat Wayne, 30-19, on Oct. 13.

"It's not what people on the outside think of you," said Wayne coach Tom Harmon of his young team. "There was a lot of luck involved, but our expectation level has not changed year in and year out.

"Both teams are rightfully there and earned the right to play for a state championship. There will be a state championship in Wayne County in AA for sure. Only, nobody knows who it will be, yet."

Wayne has a six-game winning streak with its last loss to Tolsia in which the Rebels' B.J. Evans rushed for a school-record 360 yards. But since that defeat the Pioneers had only allowed an average of seven points per game.

My Job

I am really happy and excited to tell you about where I work. I am very lucky to say that I love my job. Not many people can say that and really mean it. We do have our ups and downs at work but overall it's a wonderful place to make money. I work at an Architectural Firm in the Channel District of Downtown Tampa, Florida.
